The East Midlands Renal Network is keen to share these guidelines with all health care providers and has therefore made them available to download from this website (scroll to the end of this page) by anyone wishing to do so.
The East Midlands Renal guidelines are intended for use by any NHS organisation within the East Midlands and have previously been distributed to these organisations.
The Guidelines were finalised in November 2005 and have now been reviewed and updated this year 2009. The Guidance aim to provide optimal and uniform care for patients with kidney disease across Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and parts of Cambridgeshire.
The East Midlands Renal Guidelines have been developed and produced by the Nephrologists in the East Midlands working in Partnership with local Primary Care Trusts. They are based on nationally agreed guidelines which have been published by the Royal Colleges of Physicians and General Practitioners. They are designed to help the implementation the Renal National Service Framework.
The East Midlands Renal Network is keen to receive feedback on these guidelines. Any comments should be sent to emrn@hotmail.co.uk
