The Renal Network
The renal services for the population of the East Midlands were first provided in 1974, by a hub and spoke model based at the Leicester General Hospital. Over time, the service developed and the geographical area covered expanded to include all of Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, parts of Cambridgeshire and North Northamptonshire. A number of renal “satellite” services were established and currently these include the provision of dialysis facilities in:

  • Lincoln County Hospital
  • Peterborough District General Hospital
  • Kettering General Hospital
  • Loughborough Community Hospital
  • Harborough Lodge
  • Boston
  • Skegness
